Learner Representative Forum
NM asked all SU officers to confirm if they are available to attend the Learner Representative Conference Tuesday 26th Jan.
The conference is open to student union presidents and representatives, student governors, course representatives and anyone interested in these roles or promoting the learner voice.
This one-day conference is for all learners across the FE sector who have recently stepped into a leadership role in their institution or who are interested in doing more to promote the learner voice. This forum will offer invaluable networking and development opportunities. Workshops designed to fit all levels of experience will allow delegates to get specific knowledge from like-minded peers as well as engaging with colleagues with a very different set of objectives. Keynote speeches from sector leaders, debate and discussion will also be incorporated. The benefits of attending are gaining invaluable practical skills as well as a broad policy understanding and influence the development of national policy and strategy.
RB confirmed he would be able to attend. SC discussed he would check.
JH and QA have already confirmed their attendance.
